Over 120 athletes from 22 countries taking part in Modern Pentathlon European Championships in Minsk

Over 120 athletes from 22 countries are taking part in the European Pentathlon Championships. Competitions are held in Minsk. Today the schedule includes women's relay race, with men's relay held tomorrow. In these disciplines Belarusian coaches will give a chance to younger athletes. And our leading athlete Anastasia Prokopenko (11th in the world rating) will only take part in the individual program. The University of Physical Education hosts swimming events, while fencing challenges are taking place at Minsk Arena. The remaining events, including horse riding, shooting and running, will be held in Raubichi. The championships will last until July 24th.
