Minsk hosts World Muay Thai Championships

The World Muay Thai Championships in Minsk features 35 Belarusian athletes. The Belarusians aspire to take the first place in the team standings, the main rival being Thailand. Belarusian athletes have never returned from Muay Thai tournaments without awards, and it was only the Belarusians who had managed to defeat the founders of Thai boxing. In total, the World Muay Thai Championships will feature about 700 athletes from more than 60 countries.
