Belarus taking part in UN General Assembly's 73rd session

The high-level segment begins today at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly. A delegation from Belarus led by Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei will arrive in New York. Priority for Belarus at this session of the UN are the matters of peace and security, implementation of sustainable development goals, as well as the promotion of ideas aimed at strengthening partnership and justice. In general, almost two hundred issues are on the agenda of the session; political debates will take place during which heads of countries will make speeches.
