Wrestlers from Mogilev region among winners of "League of the Brave"
For the second year in a row the project of the Presidential Sports Club and the Belarusian Wrestling Federation brings together athletes from all over the country. Despite their young age (15 to 16 years old) they are already seriously engaged in this sport. Also, competing with Belarusians are athletes from Moscow. To reach the final, the teams of 10 boys and girls went through the qualifying tests. In a tense and dynamic final the young wrestlers from the Mogilev region won with the score of 17 to 13. They held the upper hand over the athletes from Moscow. In the bronze medal bout the wrestlers from Minsk region defeated their rivals from Gomel region with the identical score of 17 to 13. "League of the Brave" features three styles of wrestling, i.e. freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling.
