Vitebsk team became the winner of the Belarus-Russia boxing match

The competition was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. In total, the athletes competed in 12 bouts. Belarusians won six of them, and representatives of the Russian Federation – four. Two more matches ended in a draw. Competing with domestic boxers were athletes from different cities of Russia: Nakhodka, Velikiye Luki, Surgut, Beloyarsk. All competition participants received medals, certificates, and souvenirs. Personal awards "For the best technique", "For the will to win", and "The best boxer" were received by Russian Artemy Mamedov and Vitebsk athletes Alexey Kazusev and Vyacheslav Vishnevsky.
