Vanessa Kolodinskaya of Belarus has won gold at the European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia. The Belarusian claimed the under 53kg champion title after beating Iulia Leorda of Moldova, Angela Dorogan of Azerbaijan, Maria Prevolaraki of Greece, and Russia’s Natalia Malysheva. Belarusian freestyle wrestler Alexander Gushtyn won bronze in the under 97kg category. Today another four Belarusians will compete for medals.
