Belarusian Paralympians welcomed at Minsk National Airport

Belarusian Paralympians arriving in Minsk from Rio de Janeiro were given a warm welcome by about 100 friends and colleagues.Belarus" national team won 10 Paralympic awards, including 8 gold medals. 19 out of the 21 Belarusian athletes advanced to the top 8 strongest Paralympians. The Belarusian team ended up in the 19th place in the overall medal standings.Upon his arrival in Minsk, six-time champion of the Rio Paralympics, swimmer Igor Boki said he felt responsible for the outcome. The young athlete thanked the national team"s head coach Gennady Vishnyakov and his first coach in Bobruisk Natalia Pozdnyakova for his successful performance at the Paralympic Games.
