The Presidential Sports Club summarized the results of its work for five years
Investments in the sports future, support for young athletes and coaches are the priorities of the Presidential Sports Club. All the tasks set for the previous five-year period have been accomplished. The new members of the central council — Сhairman of the Belarusian Tennis Federation S. Rutenko and Сhairman of the Wrestling Federation A. Selimov — will also help to realize new ideas. D. Lukashenko was re-elected to the post of the Chairman of the Central Council of the Presidential Sports Club. In July the Presidential Sports Club will celebrate its 20th anniversary. During this time a number of projects aimed at the development of children's mass sports have been implemented. Every year the level of organization of competitions is improving, and many tournaments acquire the status of international ones.
