The National Olympic Committee held an award ceremony for the best athletes of Belarus
The triumph of Belarusian athletes in this year is undeniable — the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, successes at the World and European championships. The National Olympic Committee once again emphasised the importance of these victories for the whole country. Thus, the main statuette was rightfully awarded to I. Litvinovich, the champion of the Paris Olympics. The best sportswoman of the year was V. Bardzilouskaya, the silver medallist of the Games, and A. Sabalenka, the world's first racket player. The best mentor was O. Vlasova, coach of the Belarusian national trampolining team. The Breakthrough of the Year nomination was won by Olympic silver medallist Y. Zalaty (rowing). The best team was the national beach soccer team. And 21-time Paralympic Games hero I. Boki received a well-deserved award "For Devotion to the Olympic Movement".
