The International Skating Union has allowed belarusian and russian athletes to participate in the olympic qualification in a neutral status. The ISU Council proposed to adopt the experience of the International Olympic Committee regarding the performance of belarusian and russian athletes and allow athletes from both countries to participate in the qualifying starts for the Games-2026 in Italy. To do this, representatives of the Belarusian Skating Union should submit applications for participation in the competition no later than 28 February 2025.
