The international service Biathlon Championship was held in Grodno

About a hundred border guards from the CIS countries took part. Men's and women's teams competed in running at distances of 1.5, 3 and 5 kilometers at the "Belyany" military shooting range. The championship, which has already become traditional, has expanded the geography of the participating countries this year. Representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including Pakistan, China and Tajikistan, were invited as observers.
