A new adaptive sport is being developed in the northern region. The first Belarusian wheelchair football team has been created in Vitebsk. The initiatives of these strong-willed athletes received support at the regional level. After winning the civil initiatives competition, the team received nine professional electric wheelchairs and special balls. Vitebsk plans to hold competitions at various levels to attract new participants to this life-affirming movement. Men and women of all ages can play on the same team.
