Sports will become more accessible for residents of the regions
Making sport accessible to everyone. Belarus has discussed topical issues related to the implementation of the State Programme on Physical Culture and Sports. In the near future multifunctional sports complexes will be built in Grodno, Vitsebsk, Petrikov, Mogilev and Lyakhovichi. The construction of five sports and fitness facilities is planned in the capital. Swimming pools will soon open in Slavgorod and Khoiniki. At the same time, active work is being carried out at other sports facilities. In particular, in the Olympic Training Centre for winter sports "Raubichi" the system that creates snow on the slopes is being upgraded, the base for training freestyle skiers and track and field athletes is being renewed. The goal is to provide each agro-town with a modern sports facility within five years.
