Sasnovich leaves the US Open, Sabalenka and Azarenka continue to fight

Aliaksandra Sasnovich was defeated at the start of the US Open Tennis Championship, losing in the first round to American tennis player Iva Jovic in two sets. She will face Italian tennis player Jasmine Paoliniin the 1/32 finals of the US Open. Earlier, Belarusians Aryna Sabalenka and Victoria Azarenka overcame the barrier of the first round. The 145^th Grand Slam in New York will end on 7 September. The total prize pool of the US Open-2025 is a record $90 mln.
