S.Kovalchuk: Belarus will show high results at 2nd European Games

The Belarusian team will show high results at the 2^nd European Games 2019, Belarusian Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk said at a session in the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. Minsk will host the 2^nd European Games on 21-30 June 2019. Competitions will be held at 12 sports facilities. Over 4,000 athletes will compete in 200 medal events in 15 sports. Competitions in nine sports will serve as qualifiers for the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. Competitions in badminton, boxing, canoe sprint and judo will be held in the format of European championships.
