"Running League" events to be held in Belarus

The Belarusian Federation of Track and Field Athletics has presented a new project called "Running League". Mass races will be held in all the regions. The number of participants will vary from two to five thousand. The project will start on May 13, the first race will take place in Krichev, while the final one will be held in Mogilev on October 1. The distance is from five kilometers to a marathon. At the end of 18 races winners will be chosen both in the individual and team categories. The prize money will be divided among the six best runners and teams. In order to qualify for the prizes, one has to participate in at least 7 events. It is the top 7 results that will be put into to the final table. Registration can be completed online.
