Presidential Sports Club names scholarship holders for 2024

Additional motivation and financial support. The Central Council of the Presidential Sports Club has approved the list of scholarship holders. These are 349 promising athletes and coaches. 40 athletes from among the scholarship holders became medalists of world and European championships in their age categories. There could be more such results, but so far representatives of only 8 sports, including wrestling, sambo, boxing, tennis and others have performed at international events. So when choosing the scholarship holders the opinion of federations and other official agencies was taken into account as well as actual results. The average size of the annual scholarship is Br8.600. A special category of scholarship holders are young coaches, who have recently graduated from educational institutions and have been working for no more than 5 years. These are 105 people, among who are those who used to get scholarships as athletes. This year the "Presidential Sports Club Scholarships" project turns 18.
