NOC discusses preparation for 2021 IIHF World Championship

Sports delegations led by the prime ministers of Latvia and Belarus discussed strategic issues of cooperation in this direction at the premises of the National Olympic Committee. The parties stated that they have no difficulties in preparing for the world ice hockey championship, everything is being carried out as planned. Recently, voting for the best idea of 2021 IIHF World Championship mascot was launched. 32 mascots were selected from more than 100 Belarusian and Latvian applications. Soon the jury will determine the main symbol of the upcoming sporting event. 2021 IIHF World Championship will be held on May 7-23 in Minsk and Riga.
