National team of Belarus triumphs at European Swimming Championships

Three medals and the eleventh team place. This is the result of the performance of the Belarusian national team at the European Short-Course Swimming Championships. The day before, 16-year-old Anastasiya Shkurdai won gold for Belarus in 100 meters butterfly. President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated the athlete on her victory. While winning the title Anastasiya set a new junior European record of 56.21 seconds. Shkurdai is now the owner of the Tokyo Olympic license.
