Mogilev region welcomes Flame of Peace

Today Belarus’ Mogilev region welcomed the Flame of the 2nd European Games. Torchbearers carried the flame across the WWII memorial in Buynichy field. After that the Flame of Peace was brought to the popular attraction – the city zoo. Across the Dnieper river it was taken to the center of Mogilev. Today, the relay participants are going to visit major enterprises in Mogilev. At night a gala concert will be held. The 2nd European Games will run from 21 to 30 June in Minsk. The multisport forum will gather more than 4,000 athletes from 50 countries who will compete in 200 medal events in 15 sports.
