Minsk to unveil European Games 2019 mascot today

The presentation of the 2nd European Games 2019 mascot will take place in Minsk today. Taking part in the event will be foster children, athletes, as well as Star Ambassadors of the 2nd European Games, i.e. Olympic champion Alexander Bogdanovich and UNICEF representative in Belarus, Dr. Rashed Mustafa Sarwar.
Both amateur designers and professionals took part in the contest to create the mascot of the 2nd European Games. The mascots of the 1st European Games in Baku were Jeyran the Gazelle and Nar the Pomegranate. Tickets for the great Minsk sport event will go on sale on 1 December, organizers say.
