Minsk hosts World Powerlifting Championships

The World Open, Sub-Junior, Junior & Master Classic Powerlifting Championships start in Minsk today. Belarus will field 15 athletes, including world record-holder in bench press Vladislav Popelsky, 2016 world champion Tatiana Domashina and 2017 European silver medalist Snezhana Zubko. Competing at the championships in the Belarusian capital will be 874 athletes from 52 countries.
