Minsk hosts the "Commonwealth Cup" in figure skating

The International figure skating competition Commonwealth Cup started on the ice of the Chizhovka-Arena in Minsk. For six days the athletes of the national teams of Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as the participants of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing will play for awards in single, pair and synchronized skating, as well as in ice dancing. At the end of the competitions there will be brightly themed demonstrations of the best athletes.
