Minsk hosts Belarus Winter Swimming Championships 2017

For three days Minsk will host Belarus Winter Swimming Championships 2017. Belarusian winter swimmers are thoroughly prepared for the opening of the season. The water temperature is about 8ºC. About 100 athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Poland and China will compete in freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke. There are several age categories. The youngest swimmer is 12 years old. The national championship was designed to form a national team for the World Cup in Latvia.
