Minsk half-marathon gathers record-high 35 thousand runners

For the fourth time, Minsk half-marathon gathered amateur runners. This year, the new record in the number of participants was set, 35,000 runners from 53 countries took part in the event. The largest was the Russian team with 600 runners from 89 cities. At the most prestigious distance of 21 km, our professional athlete Svetlana Kudelic fought for the first place, but came second. The Belarusian athlete lost only one second to Sheila Erotich from Kenya. Among the men, the whole pedestal was taken by Africa. In a ten-kilometer challenge, Belarusians came to the finish line first. The most popular distance of 5 kilometers saw more than 25,000 participants.
