Minsk getting ready to Europe vs USA light athletics championship

In 8 months, a historic event in the world light athletics will take place in Minsk. The Dinamo stadium of the Belarusian capital will host a match between combined teams of Europe and the USA. The last tournament of the kind was held in 1985. Each type of the program will feature four representatives of Europe and the USA. Ten Belarusian athletes are likely to join team Europe. In total, 350 sportspeople are expected to come to Minsk. The Europe vs USA match will be held September 9 – 10. The program includes all traditional kinds of light athletics, including combined relay races.
