Based on the voting results, which included members of the Beach Soccer Federation executive committee, coaches of the national team and Belarusian clubs, referees of national competitions, journalists, and fans, Igor Brishtel received the highest number of points. This season, the 38-year-old athlete won the Silver Ball and was the top scorer at the World Cup in the Seychelles, scoring 11 goals. The Belarusian team won silver at the world championship, losing to Brazil in the final.
