IBU Open European Championships kick off in Raubichi

The IBU Open European Championships takes place at the Raubichi Olympic Training Center. Today’s program includes two individual events, Men’s 20km Individual and Women’s 15km Individual. Earlier, the Raubichi Olympic Training Center hosted both World and European Biathlon Championships. The latest continental tournament took place in 2004. After major renovations the center hosted the 49th edition of the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2015. The day before, the technical staff of the track completed the final preparations, and the athletes had their first official training. Representatives of the International Biathlon Union were satisfied with the preparation of Raubichi for high-status competitions.
