Hockey tournament for President's Prize

All teams taking part in the 14th Christmas amateur ice hockey tournament for the prize of the President of Belarus will arrive in Minsk today. The first to arrive were the team of the United Arab Emirates. Among the six other participants are the newcomer team of China, as well as hockey players from Switzerland, Russia, the Czech Republic, Sweden and the Balkans. The competition is hosted by Chizhovka-Arena, where tomorrow the tournament will open with the match Switzerland vs. China, later in the group A the Belarusians will play against the United Arab Emirates. The group winners will traditionally contest the main trophy of the tournament on the 7th of January.
