Heavy athletics. Belarusians won more medals at Grand Prix in Havana

Combined team of Belarus keeps on performing successfully at the Weightlifting Grand Prix Cuba. In Havana, our athletes clinched two medals in the today’s clean and jerk combination. Peter Asayonok was unparalleled in the weight category under 89 kilograms with the total result of 368 kilos. According to the International federation, the achievement helps the Belarusian man of muscle enter the top 10 of the qualification ratings to the Olympic Games in Paris. Susanna Volodko was second among 26 women in the under 71 kg category. Her result in clean and jerk combination is 242 kilos. The day before, another Belarusian athlete Diana Moiseyevich triumphed the tournament in the category under 64 kg.
