Forum of athletes of Belarus and Russia gets underway

A forum of athletes of the two countries started today at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. It is attended by Viktor Lukashenko, head of the Belarusian NOC, and Stanislav Pozdnyakov, head of the Russian Olympic Committee. One of the topics on the agenda is the development of sports over the two years of sanctions pressure. Olympic champions and medalists of the Games, coaches from Belarus and Russia will discuss issues related to organization of competitions, joint training camps as well as international agenda in sports.
