"Flame of Peace" arrives in Minsk today

The Flame of Peace arrives in Minsk today. The symbol of the 2nd European Games, lit in Rome, has already visited all the regions of Belarus. A solemn ceremony of welcoming the torch relay will be held in the capital in the State Flag Square. About two thousand people will be involved in the event. They include athletes who represent our country, Olympic champions of different years and pop stars. The beginning of the "Flame of Peace" meeting ceremony will be held today at 9.00 p.m. The TV version will be shown by "Belarus-24" satellite TV channel tomorrow at 15.30, and repeated the following night.
