European Games winners awarded in Minsk

The winners of the 2nd European Games, which the Belarusian capital hosted in June, were honored at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. Awards were received by representatives of boxing, karate, rhythmic gymnastics and shooting. The head of the Ministry, Sergei Kovalchuk, noted the strong will of the athletes and expressed hope for their further successes. Now the athletes have new goals ahead. First of all, qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics. In total, the Belarusian athletes took 69 medals at the 2nd European Games, including 24 gold awards.
