Belarusian swimmers won eight individual medals on the second day of competition at the III CIS Games in Azerbaijan

Belarusians have won two gold, three silver and three bronze medals in individual events. V. Sorokovik became a two-time champion, on Monday the Belarusian won the 50 m breaststroke, the day before he became the strongest in the 100-meter distance. Also on 29 September the medal of the highest standard was won by A. Vasilenko, who showed the best result in the 50-meter freestyle. The competitions of the III Games of the CIS countries are hosted by Azerbaijan. More than 1.600 athletes under the age of 23 from 13 countries showed up for the tournament. The Belarusian delegation included 241 athletes in 21 disciplines. The multisport forum will last until 8 October.
