Belarusian freestylers win second gold medal at Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk

Belarusian freestylers won the second medal at the World Winter Universiade. And this is gold again! Alexandra Romanovskaya and Artem Bashlakov topped the podium in mixed team competitions. The day before Romanovskaya won the individual competition. In the medal standings, Belarusians share second place with the Austrians. Meanwhile, the senior team was welcomed back at the National Airport. Anton Kushnir brought bronze from the final stage of the World Cup in China. In the overall standings, the Olympic champion was third. At the same time with the freestylers, our track-and-field athletes returned as well. At the European Championships in Glasgow, Belarusians took two medals. Elvira German won the bronze in the short hurdles, and Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova set a personal record to become the silver medalist in the long jump.
