Belarusian boxers have returned home from the World Championships

The heroes of the World Boxing Championships, which took place in the United Arab Emirates, were welcomed at the Minsk National Airport. Team leader Aleksei Alferov won silver in the weight category up to 86 kg. In total, more than 420 boxers from 108 countries, including five Belarusians, took part in the men's World Championships. Vadim Volchek reached the quarterfinals in the up to 67 kg category, while Denis Solotskikh (up to 57 kg), Alexander Radionov (up to 71 kg) and Vladislav Smyaglikov (over 92 kg) completed their performances at the 1/8 finals stage.
