Belarus: sports achievements and plans

Belarusians feel equal to enter the 25 best countries at the Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Pyeongchang. The opinion was voiced by minister of sports and tourism Alex Shamko at a ministry's panel. In 2017, Belarusian athletes won 647 medals at championships, World and European cups. This year, the emphasis will be put on 22 priority sports – the game-based ones, and those where Belarusians traditionally win medals at Olympiads.
