Belarus national tennis team reached the Davis Cup playoffs

Belarus national tennis team defeated rivals from Austria and goes to the Davis Cup playoffs, where it will compete against the best teams in the world. Belarusian athletes won at the the capital's Palace of Tennis. Despite the higher rating of opponents, the Belarusians won all single matches of the 2nd round of the 1st group of the Euro-African zone. After 10 years the Belarusian team once again has a chance to play in the Davis Cup World Group. Belarus’ opponents in the final leg of the tournament will be known after the results of the draw, which will be held on Tuesday.
