Belarus' national beach soccer team was honored at headquarters of National Olympic Committee of Belarus

Minister of Sport and Tourism Sergei Kovalchuk and Head of the National Olympic Committee Viktor Lukashenko honored the great contribution of our beach soccer players to the development of Belarusian sport. The participants of the World Championship were awarded monetary certificates, and the head coach of the team Nicolas Alvarado was honored with a certificate of honor from the NOC of Belarus. The coach emphasized that he is grateful to the country's leadership for attention and support of the sport of high achievements. At the World Beach Soccer Championship, the national team of Belarus stopped one step away from the title match. We lost to the Italians only in a penalty shootout. The result was the best in history for us.
