Belarus goes second in overall medal standings with 55 medals

Belarus won 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals on day seven of the 2nd European Games in Minsk. Cyclist Yauheni Karaliok was third in Men’s Scratch. Three-time European silver medalist Aliaksandr Hushtyn clinched bronze in Men’s Freestyle-97kg. Team Belarus was triumphant at Zaslavl Regatta Course. The first gold medal of the day was added to Belarus’ medal count by Volha Khudzenka who won the Women’s K1 500m final. Soon after that Maryna Litvinchuk clinched the second gold medal in Women’s K1. The collection of Belarusian medals grew larger with the gold medals won by Artsem Kozyr and Alena Nazdrova in 200m races. So far, Belarus goes second in the overall medal standings of the 2nd European Games with 55 medals.
