Belarus and Latvia will compete for hosting the World Cup -2021

Belarus and Latvia have submitted a joint bid to host the 2021 World Ice Hockey Championship. If the documents are approved, the main events will take place in Minsk, where all the matches, beginning with the semi-final stage, will be held. The decision to choose the host of the championship will be made on May 17 in Cologne at the International Ice Hockey Federation Congress. Finland is also among the contenders to host the championship. As it was reporterd, Minsk hosted the prestigious tournament in 2014, Riga did the same in 2006.
