Belarus’ Alexandra Sasnovich reached the finals of the WTA tournament in Brisbane for the first time in her career. In the semi-finals, the Belarusian beat Anastasia Sevastova from Latvia in two sets - 7:6, 6:4. She showed herself as a strong-willed and stress-resistant player and wasn’t afraid of the higher ranking of her opponent. This week Alexandra occupies the 88th place in the ranking. On Monday, she will get a higher position. In the finals Alexandra Sasnovich will play against the winner of the match Karolína Plíšková (Czech Republic) - Elina Svitolina (Ukraine). The tournament in Brisbane is a premiere sporting event has the prize fund of $894.000.
