Azarenka reaches Acapulco quarterfinal

Belarus’ Victoria Azarenka (WTA No.50) has made it to the quarterfinal of the 2019 WTA Mexican Open. At the women’s singles second round match in Acapulco Victoria Azarenka cruised past Tatjana Maria of Germany 6:2, 6:1. The Belarusian had previously defeated U.S. Danielle Collins 6:1, 6:2. In her first quarterfinal showing of the 2019 season, Azarenka will meet American Sofia Kenin.
