Azarenka loses to Sabalenka in US Open first round

This night the US Open hosted a super match for Belarusian fans. Belarus' the two leading tennis players Victoria Azarenka and Aryna Sabalenka met in the first-round match. In the game's first set othe success was on the side of the more experienced Azarenka 6:3. Sabalenka won the second set  with identical score, and in the decisive game Sabalenka also managed to overpower Azarenka 6:4. In his career's first, Belarus' Yegor Gerasimov progressed beyond US Open men's singles starting round. The Belarusian  athlete beat Lloyd Harris from South Africa.
