Anton Smolsky claimed gold at the Commonwealth Cup

Belarusian biathlete Anton Smolsky became the best in the sprint race at the Commonwealth Cup. Competitions started today in Sochi. Smolsky's time at the finish line was 48 seconds faster than the result of his nearest competitor, Alexander Povarnitsyn. Third place was taken by another Russian Nikita Porshnev. Two more Belarusians got into the top ten: Ilya Avseenko became 7th, Maksim Vorobey – 8th.
