Anastasiya Prokopenko awarded Best Pentathlete prize by UIPM

Anastasia Prokopenko was awarded the prize "The Best Pentathlete of the Year" by the International Modern Pentathlon Union. The award was presented to her in a solemn atmosphere during the congress dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Union. This year, Anastasia won gold at the World Championships in both personal and relay events, and also won a bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics. The athlete twice interrupted her career to have children and twice returned to the sport.
