A specialized fencing hall was opened in Gomel
The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information. All conditions have been created for comfortable training and high-quality preparation of future Olympic champions. The hall is located on the premises of the Gomel division of Beltelecom. It features several tracks for training, locker rooms, premises for trainers, and household purposes. The National Olympic Committee donated 15 thousand rubles for the development of the Gomel Regional Olympic Reserve Center for Applied Sports. With the improvement of the material and technical base, a new round of development of the fencing tradition in the Gomel region begins. Previously, similar halls were opened in Grodno and Minsk with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information.
