2nd European Games torch to be lit today in Rome

The "Flame of Peace" will be lit up in Rome today. The solemn event will be held in the legendary museum complex, where the famous monument of architecture "Arch of Peace" is located. The relay will be held across 55 settlements on territory of eight countries. About 450 torchbearers will participate in the marathon. “Flame of Peace” will arrive in Belarus on May 12. The day before in the Italian capital, the final and main presentation of Belarus as the host of Europe's central multisport event this year took place.
