2nd European Games end with colorful closing ceremony at Dinamo Stadium

The flame of the 2nd European Games went out. The sports forum that our country has hosted has been officially completed. The closing ceremony gathered about 22 thousand spectators at Dinamo Stadium, and millions at the screens. The main participants of the colorful action were athletes from the 50 countries and volunteers. Spectators could feel the rhythms of modern Belarus. At the VIP lounge many high-ranking guests watched the ceremony together with the President of Belarus. At the 2nd European Games athletes competed for 200 sets of awards in 15 sports. In the team medal standings, the national team of Belarus is second. The first place went to Russians, Ukrainians are third.
