2018 brings highest medal count in history of sovereign Belarus

The most successful year for Belarusian athletes. Our athletes brought home 680 awards, including 253 in Olympic sports, from various international competitions ranging from the Olympiad to European and World Championships. The results of the 2018th were summed up at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. The board meeting was held at the State University of Physical Education. The participants also discussed the main areas of focus this year. Much attention is paid to the promotion of sports. Today, every fourth Belarusian does physical exercise regularly.
